Shades of Grey is comprised of Marcus Sams and Jill Eickmann who met in 2005 while at the Lila Theatre in San Francisco. They have been collaborating on various projects ever since and formed Shades of Grey in 2008. They perform in the Bay Area and nationally as well as teach improv classes and workshops.

We do Improv Comedy that tickles your funny bone and warms your heart. Our shows are 100% improvised and created purely from audience suggestion. By exploring awkward situations and what makes us tick as humans our shows are often plagued by hilarity and pathos. Our stories are of the relationships between characters with wants and needs who live worlds frought with obstacles that are not black and white.
