WHO’S WHO IN THE CAST
2004-2005 Resident Company Member Michael Aho has studied and performed improvisation in San Francisco, Boston, and Chicago. As a playwright, actor and communication coach, he has been obsessed with the creative arts process for over ten years. Michael received his B.A. in Theatre and Rhetoric from Bates College, where he was member of an eight person comedy group, Side Effects. After college, he co-founded an improv theatre troupe, Wig Kitchen, based in Boston. He moved to San Francisco to pursue a Masters degree in Drama Therapy at the California Institute of Integral Studies (C.I.I.S.), where he has taught clowning for the developmentally disabled, led workshops on finding your authentic voice, and performed in playback theatre. Michael co-wrote and acted in the two person play, Twinspeak, for the 2003 San Francisco Fringe Festival and recent employment includes a five week run of The Reckoning at Marine World/Six Flags in Vallejo. |
