WHO’S WHO IN THE CAST Temenos Coordinator/Company Member Marcus Sams began his journey in the large city of Willits California. Loving theatre at a young age was thought to be enough. After going to college and changing majors five times he finally rediscovered his home in theatre. Marcus received his B.A. in Theatre Arts from California State University, Chico. During his time there he performed in many shows, including Man of La Mancha, Tartuffe Unplugged, The Birds and many others. Marcus also was the artistic director of the Wandering Minds, Improvisation Comedy Troupe. He has directed and co-written the sketch comedy show, Going Places Nowhere Fast, which combined live theatre and video sketch together with seamless transitions. (Think French scenes combined with the living newspaper and spiced with the comedy of a sketch show) During the summer of 04’ he performed in Chico State’s summer program, Court Theatre, where four shows were produced over the course of six weeks. Marcus has performed at Utah Musical Theatre and as an actor in the KC/ACTF New Works Festival. He has taught Improvisation workshops at the high school and college level for the past two years and is eager to advance his own training in the Arts.
