WHO’S WHO IN THE CAST Company Member DREW KERSTEN has performed in stadiums all over the country for crowds of over 100,000. Granted he did this as the University of Minnesota mascot Goldy Gopher, but it was still pretty cool. You could say this is how he got his start in improv and performing. A few years after graduating from Minnesota with a degree in Broadcast Journalism he started more formal improv training with a class at the Brave New Workshop. After moving to the Bay Area in 2002 he continued his training with classes through BATS. In 2005 he dove the rest of the way into the improv pool by joining a weekly UCB-style practice group and the Pan Theater performing group Wednesday Is For Lovers. He is super excited for the next step in his improv growth as a part of the Lila Theatre Conservatory Company. Drew would like to give special thanks to his 2 biggest improv influences Dan Giberman and Jodi Skeris. He currently lives in Walnut Creek with his beautiful wife Maika and their cats Tommy and Stuey.
