The Lila Theatre Training Center is dedicated to encouraging the student to discover their own voice through the development of each individual's true authentic self. Whether you're a professional artist looking for incredible technique or an individual searching for a creative outlet, our classes give you a safe space to learn, play, and create in open, joyful way.
Classes
Our improvisational theatre teachings include a hybrid of techniques and theories developed at the great improv theatres in Chicago and NYC, and here in San Francisco at Lila Theatre. You get a variety of long-form techniques and theories including:
- Harold, Armando Diaz, Maude, Mamet, etc - Musical Improv - And the list goes on...
In addition to our classes, Jill Eickmann (Artistic Director) and the Resident Company are also available for private coaching and workshops. Some of our past clients include students from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and an all women's group. Whatever your needs, we can design a program just for you.
